IUPUI’s Modesitt Named Men's Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI's Joel Modesitt was named as The Summit League's men's tennis player of the week for his performance Jan. 29- Feb. 4.

Modesitt earns his fifth career award and first of the season after posting a singles victory against a nationally-ranked team. Playing the No. 6 singles position against 33rd-ranked Indiana, Modesitt scored a three-set (4-6, 6-4, 7-5) win, his first of the season, over Alekzander Davila to account for IUPUI's lone point in the match. Moving up to the No. 5 singles position against No. 30 Notre Dame, Modesitt fell in three sets to Michael Dooley (3-6, 6-4, 0-1 (10-12)).
