Fort Wayne’s Caterina Kiefer Named Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne's Caterina Kiefer was named as The Summit League's women's tennis player of the week for her performance March 5-11.

Kiefer posted a pair of straight-set singles wins at the No. 2 position and collected two doubles wins during the week to help lead her team to 7-0 victories over Green Bay and Bradley. Against Green Bay, Kiefer won 0 and 2 over Green Bay's Londre and scored a 2 and 0 victory Bradley's Rodefeld. At No. 1 doubles, Kiefer teamed for wins over Green Bay (8-4) and Bradley (8-2). For the year, Kiefer owns an 11-4 singles record and 14-4 doubles mark.
