South Dakota’s Pavlovic Named Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota's Milica Pavlovic was named as The Summit League's women's tennis player of the week for her performance March 19-25.

Pavlovic received her first career award after a combined 4-0 record at the top singles and doubles positions. Against Valparaiso, Pavlovic scored a straight-set (3 and 0) win over Kristin Zakiewicz at No. 1 singles and teamed for an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles. Facing Green Bay, Pavlovic dropped the first set before rallying to win 12 of 14 games in a 2-6, 6-1, 6-1 triumph over Amanda Timm at No. 1 singles after contributing to a 9-7 No. 1 doubles win. Pavlovic earned her ninth and 10th singles victories while helping the Coyotes to their fourth and fifth consecutive wins.
