Kansas City’s Hasandedic Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Kansas City's Nino Hasandedic was named as The Summit League's men's tennis player of the week for his performance April 9-15.

Hasandedic earns his third career award and first this season after posting a 3-0 singles record and teaming for a pair of doubles victories. Against Fort Wayne, Hasandedic posted a key victory at No. 1 singles by rallying for a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 triumph against Daniel Kang. The win helped Kansas City clinch The Summit League's regular season title in a 4-2 victory. Earlier in the week, Hasandedic scored a straight-set win (4 and 2) over Omaha's Conner Tieszen and a non-league victory over Creighton's Sam Mathison (3-6, 6-4, 6-4). He teamed with Tim Akhmedov for No. 3 doubles wins over tandems from Creighton and Omaha. Hasandedic improved to 13-7 in singles matches and 8-10 in doubles this spring.
