Hamilton, Rey, Inskeep Earn Weekly Women's Soccer Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Kristen Hamilton was named The Summit League's Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week while Denver's Cassidy Rey and South Dakota State's Nicole Inskeep were named the Defensive Players of the Week for their performances Sept. 9-15.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kristen Hamilton, Denver

Hamilton earns her second Offensive Player of the Week award this season after leading No. 16 Denver to a 3-0 shutout of Colorado. After a scoreless first half, the senior put DU on the scoreboard with the eventual game-winner in the 63rd minute. She then added an insurance goal in the 88th minute on a header to the inside far post and assisted on Anna Willis' goal a little over two minutes later. In the match, Hamilton broke Denver's all-time record with 43 career goals and with her five points, broke the Division I record with 115 career points. The Pioneers (7-0-0) handed the Buffaloes (6-1-0), a team receiving votes in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire rankings, their first loss of the season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Cassidy Rey, Denver

Rey captures her third Defensive Player of the Week honor this season and second-straight after collecting her fourth career shutout over Colorado. The freshman made seven saves, handing the Buffaloes their first loss of the season. Rey has a league-leading .927 save percentage, a 0.43 goals against average on the year and has allowed only three goals this season.
Nicole Inskeep, South Dakota State
Fr. // GK // Ankeny, Iowa
Inskeep collects her second Defensive Player of the Week award this season after earning a pair of road shutouts over Drake and UNI. The freshman now has a league-leading five shutouts on the year. Inskeep made three saves in the Drake win and made one stop in the double overtime victory over UNI.
