Shepler-Tucker, Davis Collect Women's Soccer Weekly Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI's Kalli Shepler-Tucker was named The Summit League's Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week while Denver's Amelia Davis was named the Defensive Player of the Week for their performances Sept. 23-29.

Shepler-Tucker collects her first career Offensive Player of the Week honor after helping IUPUI to a 2-1 victory over UNI on Sunday. She put the Jaguars up early with a goal in the fourth minute of the match, converting on a cross from teammate Sarah Carlisle. The sophomore was then credited with the assist on Grace Perkowitz's game-winner in the 55th minute. Shepler-Tucker's goal was the second of her career while the assist was her seventh.

Davis earns the Defensive Player of the Week award after posting a pair of wins for Denver last week. In her first collegiate start on Thursday, the senior goalie posted her first career shutout at No. 17 BYU. She made five saves in the 1-0 Pioneer victory and followed that with three stops in the win at UC Santa Barbara Sunday. For the week, Davis had a 0.50 goals against average, .889 save percentage and eight total saves.
