IPFW's Seibert, IUPUI's Goss Named Players of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne guard Haley Seibert and IUPUI guard DeAirra Goss were named The Summit League's Women's Basketball Players of the Week for their performances Jan. 13-19.

Seibert earns her first career Player of the Week honor after leading Fort Wayne to a pair of Summit League wins last week. In the victory over Denver, the junior guard scored 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field. She then scored a career-high 35 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the field in the win over South Dakota. She also connected on a career-high seven three-pointers against the Coyotes. For the week, Seibert averaged 29.5 points, three rebounds, 1.5 assists and one steal per game. She shot 67 percent (20-of-30) from the field, 53 percent (10-of-19) from three-point range and 82 percent (9-of-11) at the free throw line while recording a 3.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. Her 29.5 points per game were 16.2 points per game higher than her season average entering the week.

Goss also collects her first career Player of the Week award after guiding the Jaguars to league wins over South Dakota and Denver. She scored a career-best 27 points on 11-of-18 shooting in the victory over the Coyotes. Defensively, Goss held Nicole Seekamp, USD's leading scorer (15.1 ppg), scoreless in 22 minutes of action. The senior guard scored 16 points with five rebounds and two assists in the win over the Pioneers on Saturday. For the week, Goss averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists with a 3.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. She shot 58 percent (14-of-24) from the field, 67 percent (2-of-3) from downtown and 81 percent (13-of-16) from the free throw line. Her 21.5 points per game were 9.3 points per game higher than her season average entering play last week.
