DU’s Edfort, USD’s Hertting Claim Diver of the Week Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Ross Edfort and South Dakota's Greysen Hertting were named the Men's and Women's Divers of the Week for their performances Oct. 21-27.

MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Ross Edfort, Denver

Edfort captures his fifth career Diver of the Week award and first of the season after sweeping both diving events in the Pioneers' win over Missouri State.  The Somerset, N.J., native won the one-meter dive with a score of 335.05 and the three-meter with 332.50 points.  Both scores rank second in the league and qualify Edfort for the NCAA Zones.

WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Greysen Hertting, South Dakota
So. // Appleton, Wis.
Hertting earns her third-straight Diver of the Week honor and 13th of her career after posting four top-three finishes, including two event wins.  The sophomore recorded her best performances on both boards in a dual at Iowa State, winning the three-meter dive with 293.65 points and finishing runner-up in the one-meter with 275.55 points.  Both scores are NCAA Zone qualifiers and are tops in the league this season.  She also won the three-meter dive (249.15 points) and took third in the one-meter (247.43 points) at Northern Iowa.
