Fort Wayne's Sato Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne's Mayu Sato was named as The Summit League's Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performance Feb. 4-10.

Sato received her first league honor after going 3-0 in singles matches and adding a pair of doubles wins during the week. Playing the No. 1 singles position, Sato won in straight sets over Oakland's Karine Cellis (4 and 0) and Cleveland State's Kara Sherwood (2 and 2) and triumphed in three sets over Northern Kentucky's Maria Voscekova (7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 10-7). Sato teamed with Marcy Huck for wins over Oakland (8-2) and Cleveland State (6-2) at No. 1 doubles.
