Denver’s Clinkenbeard Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Alex Clinkenbeard was named as The Summit League's Men's Tennis Player of the Week following his performance Feb. 18-24.

Clinkenbeard received his first career league honor after singles and doubles victories at Marquette. Playing No. 4 singles, Clinkenbeard rallied for a 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 win over Cameron Tehrani. At No. 3 doubles, Clinkenbeard teamed with Eric Marbach for an 8-4 point-clinching win over the MU tandem of Dykema/Tehrani. Against No. 67 Wisconsin, Clinkenbeard's No. 4 singles match against Jakhongir Jalalov went unfinished (6-4, 3-5, unf.).
