DU’s Hughes Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Kathryn Hughes was named as The Summit League's Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performance Jan. 28-Feb. 3.

Hughes received her first league honor after posting a pair of singles victories and a doubles win during the week. Playing at No. 4 singles, Hughes recorded a 6-4, 6-7, 11-9 triumph over Tiana Takenaga of No. 51 Columbia. In Denver's 5-2 victory over No. 69 Princeton, Hughes defeated No. 62 Alanna Wolff 6-4, 3-6, 10-6 at No. 3 singles and teamed with Sonja Radosevic for a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles over Muliawan/Wolff.
