USD’s Sidenko Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota's Yuliya Sidenko was named as The Summit League's Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performance March 11-17.

Sidenko received her first career award after posting a 6-0 singles record and adding three doubles victories during the week. All six of her singles wins came in straight sets, including five at the No. 3 position and one at No. 4. Sidenko's singles triumphs included victories over Evansville's Marino Moreno (1 and 1) at No. 4 and Siena's Jessica Macaluso (0 and 1) at No. 3. In doubles play, Sidenko teamed with Rymma Maslova for three wins, including an 8-4 victory over Siena's tandem. After her 6-0 week, Sidenko improved her season singles record to 9-4.
