Fort Wayne’s Kang Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne's Daniel Kang was named as The Summit League's Men's Tennis Player of the Week following his performance March 18-24.

Kang garnered his third career award and first this season after posting 2-0 singles and doubles records in league victories. Against South Dakota State, Kang won in straight-sets (1 and 3) over Andrea Boglic at No. 1 singles to help key the Mastodons' 4-3 victory in The Summit League opener. Earlier in the match, he teamed with Andres Cobos for an 8-4 No. 1 doubles victory over the SDSU tandem of Lawley/Moreira. Facing Western Illinois, Kang won in straight-sets (3 and 1) at No. 1 singles over Christoph Haertel and teamed with Cobos for an 8-5 win over WIU's Cederkall/Haertel at No. 1 doubles in a 7-0 Fort Wayne victory.
