Noble, Kramer and Menke Earn Weekly Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha's Lizzie Noble was named The Summit League's Softball Player of the Week, while Fort Wayne's Miranda Kramer and North Dakota State's Krista Menke were Pitchers of the Week for their performances April 14-20.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lizzie Noble, Omaha

Noble garnered her first career Player of the Week honor after driving in 13 runs and leading Omaha to a 4-0 record. In the Mavericks win at Iowa State, Noble hit a two-run first-inning double to put her team up early in a 3-2 victory. Facing Summit League foe South Dakota State, Noble hit .615 (8-of-13) with 11 RBI in a three-game sweep. Noble went two-for-four with a run scored and RBI in the opening game. In game two, she belted a three-run home run and totaled four RBI and a run scored in a two-hit outing. Noble went four-for-five with three runs scored and six RBI, finishing a double short of the cycle, in the series finale. For the week, Noble recorded nine hits, five runs and a pair of round-trippers. She slugged 1.231 in league play and 1.059 for the week.

Miranda Kramer, Fort Wayne

Kramer claims her fifth Pitcher of the Week honor this season after posting a 0.41 ERA with 24 strikeouts in two starts during the week. Facing North Dakota State, Kramer struck out nine and allowed just four hits and one walk without yielding an earned run in a seven-inning win in the series finale. In the opening game of the weekend set, Kramer struck out 15 and scattered eight hits over 10.0 innings while walking one. The only run she allowed came on a home-run in a 1-0 loss.
Krista Menke, North Dakota State

Menke garners her third consecutive Pitcher of the Week honor and fifth of the season after an 11-inning complete game one-hit victory. Facing Fort Wayne in the series opener, Menke struck out a career-high 14 batters while tossing her third one-hitter of the year in a 1-0 victory. The win marked her sixth shutout of the season. In the series finale, Menke fanned nine and yielded three hits and one walk over seven innings in a 3-1 loss. Menke posted a 0.78 ERA while allowing just four hits over 18.0 innings during the week.
