Denver’s Slattery Named Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Maureen Slattery was named as The Summit League's Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performance April 1-7.

Slattery garnered her second career award after posting 3-0 records in both singles and doubles play at the weekend's Summit League cluster in Fort Wayne. Playing the No. 1 singles position, Slattery posted straight-set wins in each of her matches, topping South Dakota's Rynna Maslova (1 and 0), IUPUI's Rachael Bridegroom (0 and 0) and South Dakota State's Florencia Magni (1 and 1). At the No. 2 doubles position, Slattery paired with Caroline Schnell for an 8-1 win against USD's duo and teamed with Kathryn Hughes for wins over IUPUI (8-0) and SDSU (8-1). Slattery helped Denver record 7-0 victories in each of its three opening matches in Summit League play.
