IUPUI's Watts, USD's Hertting Earn Diver of the Week Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI’s Cody Watts and South Dakota's Greysen Hertting were named as The Summit League’s Men's and Women's Divers of the Week for their performances Jan. 12-18.

MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Cody Watts, IUPUI
Jr. // Centerville, Ind.
Watts claims his fourth Diver of the Week award of the season and fifth of his career in a dual meet win versus Wis.-Green Bay on Jan. 15. His three-meter score of 346.80 is a new league high this season and won the event, helping the Jaguars narrowly defeat Wis.-Green Bay by a score of 152.50-147.50. His six-dive combined score of 346.80 is more than 14 points higher than the second place total in The Summit League this season.

WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK

Hertting earns Summit League Diver of the Week honors for the 18th time in her career and eighth time this season. The South Dakota sophomore collected four wins over a two-day double dual versus Western Illinois and Eastern Illinois. Friday, she notched a new school record of 301.50 in the three-meter dive and added a score of 265.13 in the one-meter. Saturday she repeated her wins in both dives, taking the three-meter in 264.98 and the one-meter in 277.51.
