North Dakota State Carries Top Seed Into #SummitWSOC Championship

ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State will be the top seed at the Summit League Women's Soccer Championship after winning the regular season crown. Joining the Bison in the tournament field are Oral Roberts, defending champion and host South Dakota State, and South Dakota.

The 2015 Summit League Women's Soccer Championship will be played Thursday and Saturday, Nov. 5 and 7 at Fishback Soccer Park in Brookings, S.D. All games will be streamed free of charge, with the semifinals airing on gojacks.com and the championship on thesummitleague.org.

Thursday's first match pits No. 2 seed Oral Roberts (10-7-2, 6-2) against No. 3 seed and host South Dakota State (10-5-3, 5-1-2) at 3 p.m. CT. No. 1 North Dakota State (12-5-1 overall, 7-0-1 Summit League) meets No. 4 South Dakota (8-11, 5-3) in the day's second match at 6 p.m. CT.

The winners of Thursday's matches will play in Saturday's championship match at noon CT with the victor earning an automatic bid to the NCAA College Cup.

North Dakota State recorded its first unbeaten Summit League season in school history while Oral Roberts earned its highest Summit League Tournament seed since 2004 and will be making its first tournament appearance since 2007. South Dakota qualified for The Summit League Tournament for the first time in school history.
