Denver’s Bunch, Roas Named Swimmers of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Dylan Bunch was named Summit League Men's Swimmer of the Week while teammate Johanna Roas earned Women's Swimmer of the Week award for their performances during the week of Nov. 2-8.

DYLAN BUNCH, DENVER

Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the first time this season and seventh time in his career
His seven weekly awards extends his league career record
In two meets during the week, Bunch earned first-place finishes in all four events he swam (100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free and 1,000 Free)
The senior's time in the 1,000 Free ranks third nationally this season and is best in the league by more than 20 seconds
His four first-place finishes helped propel Denver to two team meet victories

JOHANNA ROAS, DENVER

Earned her second Summit League Swimmer of the Week this season and the fourth of her career
Roas helped lead the Pioneers to a meet win over Air Force with two individual victories and two relay victories
Her time in the 100 Back (55.40) is best in the league this season while her time in the 200 Back (2:01.26) is good for second
Junior was a part of two winning relay teams (200 Medley, 200 Free)
