NDSU Sweeps Season’s Final #SummitWSOC Player of the Week Awards

ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State forward Lauren Miller was named Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week while teammate goalkeeper Sierra Bonham earned the league's Defensive Player of the Week award for their performances Oct. 26-Nov. 1. The honors mark the final weekly awards of the season.

LAUREN MILLER, NORTH DAKOTA STATE

  • Set new league record with eighth career award and equaled season record with fourth honor
  • Totaled six points on three goals, including two game-winners, and set school season goal record with 16
  • Struck for opening goal and game-winner in 2-1 win at IUPUI
  • Recorded game-winner on penalty kick in 96th minute of 1-0 triumph at Western Illinois
  • Scored all three NDSU goals while leading team to pair of victories and unbeaten Summit League record

  • Recorded a match-high five saves in a 1-0 shutout at Western Illinois
  • Made eight saves and yielded just one goal in 2-1 win at IUPUI
  • Totaled 13 saves and .929 save pct. to lead NDSU to its first unbeaten Summit League season
