IUPUI’s Rogers, SDSU’s Miller Earn #SummitWBB Player of the Week Honors
ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI center Mikale Rogers and South Dakota State guard Macy Miller were named Summit League Women's Basketball Players of the Week for their performances Nov. 16-22.
MIKALE ROGERS, IUPUI
Jr. // C // 6-2 // Indianapolis, Ind.
- Awarded her first career Player of the Week honor
- Averaged a double-double (14 points, 10.5 rebounds) in a pair of victories over Marquette and VCU
- Shot 62.5 percent (10-of-16) from the field and averaged 1.5 steals and blocks for the week
- Grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds in the win at Marquette while adding nine points and three steals
- Tied the game on a layup with 6.9 seconds remaining vs. VCU and sank the and-one to give IUPUI the 70-69 win
- Scored 19 points, 13 in the second half, on 70 percent (7-of-10) shooting from the field with seven rebounds in the victory over the Rams

- Collected her first career Player of the Week Award
- Led South Dakota State with a career-high 31 points in the win over Arkansas, which was receiving votes the in Associated Press Poll
- Added four rebounds and three assists while shooting 57.9 percent (11-of-19) against the Razorbacks
- Tallied 23 points with two assists and two steals in the loss to No. 3 Notre Dame
- For the week, she averaged 27 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game with a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio
- Shot 55.9 percent (19-of-34) from the field and 81.3 percent (13-of-16) at the free throw line

In its fourth decade of Division I athletics, The Summit League features women's basketball teams from nine member institutions: Denver, Fort Wayne, IUPUI, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Western Illinois.
