IUPUI’s Somhegyi, USD’s Hertting Named Divers of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI's Krisztian Somhegyi was named Summit League Men's Diver of the Week while South Dakota's Greysen Hertting earned Women's Diver of the Week for their performance during the week of Nov. 16-22.

KRISZTIAN SOMHEGYI, IUPUI

  • Named Summit League Diver of the Week for the third time this season
  • The freshman swept both boards in the prestigious House of Champions meet hosted by IUPUI
  • Finished more than 10 points better than his nearest competitor in both heights
  • Contributed to the Jaguars' second-place finish at the annual meet
  • Currently holds the top marks in both the one- and three-meter dives in The Summit League this season

  • Named Summit League Diver of the Week for the third time this season and record 23rd time of her career
  • The junior claimed four first-place finishes in four events over the weekend 
  • Twice eclipsed her best career-best mark in the three-meter dive, scoring 332.93 and 333.22
  • Her 333.22 mark is the second highest in Summit League history and set a USD pool record
  • Hertting owns the top scores this season in both boards
