IUPUI’s Kuester, UNO’s Stepp Claim Swimmer of the Week Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI's Lennart Kuester was named Summit League Men's Swimmer of the Week while Omaha's Morgan Stepp earned Women's Swimmer of the Week award for their performances during the week of Oct. 26-Nov. 1.
LENNART KUESTER, IUPUI

- Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the second time in his career and first time this season
- Claimed an individual victory in the 100 Free with a time of 46.13, fourth best time in the event in the league this year
- Junior was runner-up in the 200 Free in dual meet at Cincinnati
- Part of two second-place relay teams (200 Medley, 400 Free)

MORGAN STEPP, OMAHA

- Claimed her third career Summit League Swimmer of the Week award and first this season
- Third consecutive season she has received at least one weekly honor
- Junior recorded season-low times in three events: 200 IM, 200 Back, 200 Breast
- Earned an individual victory in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.62, sixth best time in the league this year
- Added two second-place finishes in the 200 Back and 200 Breast in dual meet at Iowa State, both top-ten times in The Summit League
