ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha's Devin Patterson and South Dakota's Eric Robertson were named Summit League Players of the Week for their performances Nov. 30-Dec. 6.
DEVIN PATTERSON, OMAHA
Sr. // G // Portsmouth, Va.
- Earned his second career Player of the Week award and first this season
- Nailed a game-winning three as time expired to give Omaha a 100-97 win over Montana State
- Totaled a career-best 38 points on 68.2 percent (15-of-22) shooting in the road victory
- Averaged 27.0 points per game while shooting 57.1 percent (20-of-35) from the field and 46.2 percent (6-of-13) from beyond the arc for the week
ERIC ROBERTSON, SOUTH DAKOTA
Sr. // G // Wayzata, Minn.
- Collected his first career weekly honor
- Led South Dakota to a double-overtime victory over Big Ten Minnesota, ending its 47-game, non-conference home winning streak (second longest in the nation)
- Scored 13 of his 16 points in the second half and overtime periods, including seven straight Coyote points near the end of regulation to force overtime
- The senior hit two game-tying jumpers in the first overtime to send the game to a second overtime
- Shot 63.6 percent (7-of-11) and pulled in four rebounds in USD's first win over a Big Ten team since the 1956-57 season
