Sherif Named #SummitWTN Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne's Sara Sherif was named The Summit League's Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performances Feb. 3-9.

Sherif collects her first career Player of the Week award after going undefeated in three matches last week. She earned straight-set singles victories over players from Evansville (6-2, 6-3), Oakland (6-1, 6-2) and Wright State (6-1, 6-4) all at the No. 5 position. She also earned three doubles victories at the No. 3 slot by the scores of 6-3 (Evansville), 7-5 (Oakland) and 6-4 (Wright State). Her singles win over Evansville clinched the match against the Purple Aces as the Mastodons went 3-0 on the week.
