IUPUI’s Lavrenchuk Tabbed #SummitWTN Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI's Valeriia Lavrenchuk was named The Summit League's Women's Tennis Player of the Week following her performance Feb. 10-16.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Lavrenchuk received her first career Player of the Week honor after going undefeated in singles play and helping her squad to a pair of match victories. In The Summit League opener against Omaha, Lavrenchuk scored a straight-set victory (1 and 2) over Michelle Lo at No. 1 singles. She also teamed with Samantha Mayer for an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles in the Jaguars' 6-1 league victory. In non-league action against intrastate foe Valparaiso, Lavrenchuk rolled to a straight-set (1 and 0) victory over Kaitlyn Hamel at No. 1 singles as IUPUI scored a 4-3 dual match win.
