Denver’s Gasson Named #SummitMTN Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Alex Gasson was named The Summit League's Men's Tennis Player of the Week following his performance Feb. 17-23.

Gasson earned his first career Player of the Week award after clinching his team's upset of No. 41 Drake. Playing the No. 3 singles position, Gasson broke the 3-3 deadlock with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 victory over Matt Frost that gave Denver a 4-3 win. Earlier in the day, Gasson and teammate David Fox notched the Pioneers lone doubles win, a 6-4 triumph at No. 1.
