ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne's Karl Wangensten-Oye was named The Summit League's Men's Tennis Player of the Week following his performance March 17-23.

Wangensten-Oye received his first weekly award after posting a 3-0 singles record. He capped his performances with a victory at No. 6 singles over Drew Dawson of No. 36 Notre Dame, 7-5, 6-7 (6-8), 1-0 (10-5). Earlier in the week, Wangensten-Oye defeated Toledo's Stephen Miller, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6) and Cleveland State's Colton Buffington, 7-6, 0-6, 1-0 (11-9) at the No. 6 position.
