USD's Warnock, NDSU's Menke Collect Weekly #SummitSB Honors
ELMHURST, Ill. –South Dakota freshman Christy Warnock has been named Summit League Player of the Week and North Dakota State senior Krista Menke earns the league's Pitcher of the Week award after their performances April 13-19.

Christy Warnock earns her first career Summit League Player of the Week award after guiding South Dakota to a 2-1 week. Warnock hit .714 (5-for-7) including a walk-off grand slam in helping the Coyotes sweep a two-game series with league-rival Omaha on Friday. The freshman contributed ten runs (six RBI, four runs scored) and slugged 1.286 in the doubleheader.

Krista Menke is named Summit League Pitcher of the Week for the third straight week and 18th time in her career after leading her team to a three-game sweep of Fort Wayne over the weekend. Menke recorded her first perfect game and third no-hitter of the season in an 18-0 win Saturday, striking out 12 of the 15 batters she faced. It was the eighth perfect game thrown in NDSU history and the first since 2006. In game two of the series, the senior again dominated the Mastodons, only allowing one hit and striking out 14 in six innings en route to a 10-0 victory. She now has 20 double-figure strikeout games this season and 27 in her career. Menke leads the nation with 301 strikeouts on the season.
