Denver’s Gasson Earns #SummitMTN Player of the Week Honor

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Alex Gasson was named The Summit League's Men's Tennis Player of the Week following his performance March 31-April 6.

Gasson garnered his second Player of the Week honor of the season after posting 2-0 records in singles and doubles in a pair of Denver Summit League victories. Against Omaha, Gasson swept Erik Anderson at No. 2 singles (0 and 0) and teamed with Yannik James for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles over the tandem of Greteman/Buckley. Facing South Dakota State, Gasson scored a straight-set win (4 and 3) over Parker Lawley at No. 3 singles and paired with Diogo Rocha for an 8-2 doubles triumph over Boglic/Lawley at No. 1.
