NDSU’s Miller, ORU’s Bohnenstiehl Named #SummitWSOC Players of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State forward Lauren Miller was named Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Oral Roberts goalkeeper Ryliegh Bohnenstiehl garnered the league's Defensive Player of the Week award for their performances Aug. 24-30.

  • Collected fifth career Offensive Player of the Week award, tying for third-most in Summit annals
  • Scored three goals and added an assist for seven-point performance vs. St. Cloud State on Aug. 28
  • Hat trick was league's first since Sept. 2014
  • Scored twice in 1:25 span and placed all four shots on goal
  • Currently leads The Summit League in goals (four) and points (nine)

RYLIEGH BOHNENSTIEHL, ORAL ROBERTS

  • Earned first career Defensive Player of the Week award after performance in second collegiate appearance
  • Faced 13 shots and made nine saves in 65 minutes against OVC favorite SIU-Edwardsville
  • Made a key save in the 66th minute to preserve shutout in eventual 0-0 draw
  • Helped ORU to a league-low 0.27 GAA to start the season
