ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne's Max Landis was named Summit League Player of the Week for his performance Jan. 11-17.

  • Collected his third career Player of the Week award and second this season
  • Scored career-high and school Division I record 37 points in overtime road victory to hand Omaha its first league loss
  • Tied career-high and school D-I mark with nine made three-pointers while shooting 75 percent from beyond the arc against the Mavericks
  • Also added career-high six rebounds to go with four assists and three steals in win at UNO that pulled his team into first-place tie
  • His nine three-point field goals are a Summit League game high while his 37 points are second-most in an intraleague contest this season
  • Led team with 23 points at South Dakota State
  • Averaged 30.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 60.9 percent (14-of-23) from three-point range during the week

In its fourth decade of Division I athletics, The Summit League features men's basketball teams from nine member institutions: Denver, Fort Wayne, IUPUI, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Western Illinois.
