IUPUI’s Somhegyi, SDSU’s Olesiak Named Divers of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI's Krisztian Somhegyi was named Summit League Men's Diver of the Week while South Dakota State's Olivia Olesiak earned Women's Diver of the Week for their performances during the week of Jan. 11-17.

  • Named Summit League Diver of the Week for the second straight week and fifth time this season
  • His five weekly awards sets a new single-season Summit League record
  • A pair of top-two finishes helped IUPUI to a dual meet victory over Green Bay 
  • Placed first in the three-meter dive with his mark of 335.47 and finished second in the one-meter with 304.87

  • Swept both boards in a dual meet at St. Cloud State
  • Scored 274.80 on the one-meter dive for her fourth victory in the event this season
  • Put up a mark of 267.50 in her three-meter victory, her second event win of the year
