DU’s O’Loughlin Earns #SummitWTN Player of the Week Accolade

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Julia O'Loughlin was named Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance Jan. 19-25.

  • Garnered first career Summit League Player of the Week award
  • Posted singles and doubles wins in Denver's 4-2 victory over No. 49 Penn State
  • Scored a 7-6, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles over PSU's Kimberly-Ann Surin
  • Teamed with Maureen Slattery for a 6-4 doubles win over PSU duo of McCluskey/Surin
  • Also recorded a straight-set singles victory and a doubles win in DU's defeat of Memphis
  • Ranked No. 64 nationally in singles, No. 44 in doubles (with teammate Maureen Slattery)
