Omaha’s Patterson, ORU’s Emegano Named #SummitMBB Players of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Omaha's Devin Patterson and Oral Roberts' Obi Emegano were named Summit League Players of the Week for their performances Dec. 28-Jan. 3.
DEVIN PATTERSON, OMAHA
Sr. // G // Portsmouth, Va.
- Garnered his third career Player of the Week award and second of the season
- Led Omaha in scoring with 25 and 24 points in wins to lift Mavericks to their first 2-0 Summit League start
- Pulled down season-best six rebounds and tied season-highs with seven assists and three steals while connecting on 13-of-17 free throw attempts in 25-point performance in victory over Western Illinois (Jan. 1)
- Made 9-of-14 field goals and all five free throw attempts while adding four assists and a pair of steals in win over IUPUI (Jan. 3)
- Averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals with a .536 field goal percentage and .818 free throw percentage during week
OBI EMEGANO, ORAL ROBERTS

- Collected his fifth career Player of the Week honor and league-high third of the season
- Scored 38 points, most in The Summit League this season, at Fort Wayne (Dec. 30)
- Connected on 15-of-24 (62.5 percent) field goal attempts, including 4-of-7 (57.1) from beyond the arc
- Pulled down six rebounds and added two assists and two blocked shots
