SDSU’s Hatcher, UNO’s Shelton Named #SummitWSOC Players of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State forward Nicole Hatcher was named Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Omaha goalkeeper Haley Shelton received the league's Defensive Player of the Week award following their performances Oct. 4-9.

  • Received her first career Player of the Week award
  • Tied for eighth in the nation in assists (8) and tied for tenth in assists per game (0.62) after recoding two assists against ORU
  • Scored the game-winning goal against WIU, and assisted in the game-winning goal against ORU
  • Tallied six points in two games played during the week
