ORU’s Jones, USD’s Ptacek Named #SummitWSOC Players of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Oral Roberts midfielder Lexi Jones earned The Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honor and South Dakota defender Katlin Ptacek garnered the league's Defensive Player of the Week award following their performances Oct. 10-16.

  • Earned her first career Player of the Week award
  • Notched the first intraleague hat trick of the season with three goals in victory over Fort Wayne
  • Her three goals against the Mastodons came within a 14:35 span during the first half
  • Scored a pair of goals in win over IUPUI
  • Totaled 10 points on five goals to take over league lead in goals (9)
