UNO’s Stepp and EIU’s Jacobs Claim Swimmer of the Week Awards

ELMHURST, Ill. – UNO's Morgan Stepp was named Summit League Women's Swimmer of the Week while EIU's Matt Jacobs earned Men's Swimmer of the Week award for their performances during the week of Nov. 7-13.

MORGAN STEPP, OMAHA

  • Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the fourth time in her career, first this season
  • Finished first in the 200 fly, 200 backstroke and 400 IM
  • Swam a season best in the 200 fly (2:06.64) and in the 200 backstroke (2:09.54)
  • Has put up back-to-back meets with multiple individual victories
