SDSU’s Miller, WIU’s Clemens Named #SummitWBB Players of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State junior guard Macy Miller and Western Illinois junior guard Emily Clemens were named Summit League Women's Basketball Players of the Week for their performances Nov. 14-20.
EMILY CLEMENS, WESTERN ILLINOIS
Jr. // G // Muscatine, Iowa
- Collected her first career Player of the Week award
- Tallied a career-high 34 points in the victory over Northern Illinois, while adding six rebounds and five assists on 71 percent (10-of-14) shooting
- Registered a double-double with 20 points and 12 assists in a win at Southeast Missouri State
- The 12 assists tie a career-high and marks the second time this season she has reached that mark
- Has 31 assists this season, which ranks second nationally
- For the week, averaged 27 points, 8.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds and three steals while shooting 60.7 percent (17-of-28) from the field and 94.4 percent (17-of-18) at the free throw line
MACY MILLER, SOUTH DAKOTA STATE

- Recorded her first Player of the Week award this season and fourth of her career
- Scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a road win at Big Ten foe Iowa (66-64)
- Hit game-winning jumper at the buzzer to defeat the Hawkeyes
- Added 15 points in 22 minutes of action with four rebounds in the victory against Montana
- Named MVP of the Hawkeye Challenge and helped SDSU snap Iowa's streak of six consecutive tournament titles
- For the week, averaged 18.5 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal
- Shot 55.6 percent (15-of-27) from the field and 75 percent (6-of-8) at the line
