USD’s Bradley, WIU’s Clemens Capture #SummitWBB Player of the Week Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota sophomore guard Jaycee Bradley and Western Illinois junior guard Emily Clemens were named the Summit League Women's Basketball Players of the Week for their performances Dec. 5-11.
JAYCEE BRADLEY, SOUTH DAKOTA

- Earned her first career Player of the Week award
- Led the Coyotes to a win over B1G opponent Illinois with 23 points and a career-best six three-pointers
- Recorded her second career 20-point game against the Fighting Illini
- Scored 17 points in a win over San Jose State, while adding six rebounds and three assists
- For the week, averaged 20 points, four rebounds and 2.5 assists
- Shot 58.3 percent (14-of-24) from the field, 61.1 percent (11-of-18) from downtown and connected on her lone free throw attempt
EMILY CLEMENS, WESTERN ILLINOIS
Jr. // G // Muscatine, Iowa
- Collected her third career Player of the Week award, all this season
- Led Western Illinois to a perfect 3-0 week with a pair of 23-point games against Bradley and Graceland
- Tallied 20 points in a win over in-state rival Eastern Illinois
- Dished out 11 assists against Graceland and added eight and nine, respectively, vs. Bradley and EIU
- For the week, averaged 22 points, 9.3 assists 3.7 steals and two rebounds per contest
- Shot 61.8 percent (21-of-34) from the field, 64.3 percent (9-of-14) behind the arc and was perfect at the free throw line (15-of-15)
