South Dakota State’s Daum Named #SummitMBB Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State's Mike Daum was named Summit League Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his performance Dec. 12-18.

- Garnered his second career Player of the Week honor and first of the season
- Scored 39 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in overtime victory over Murray State
- Converted all 16 free throw attempts for a new school record, made 11 field goals, and blocked one shot
- His scoring total was both a career-high and Summit League best this season and ranks 10th in school history
- Moved into fourth in NCAA in scoring and maintained national lead in free throw attempts

Celebrating its 35th season of Division I athletics, The Summit League features men's basketball teams from nine member institutions: Denver, Fort Wayne, IUPUI, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Western Illinois.
