IUPUI’s Rogers Named #SummitWBB Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI senior center Mikale Rogers was named The Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances Dec. 19-25.

  • Earned her second Player of the Week selection this season and fourth of her career 
  • Guided IUPUI to the league's first-ever win over Big Ten foe Purdue and just the second win over a B1G opponent in school history
  • Tallied a double-double with a career-high tying 24 points and 11 rebounds while adding a pair of assists and steals along with one block in the game
  • Connected on her lone three-point attempt and sank all five of her free throws, while shooting 47.4 percent (9-of-19) from the field
  • Surpassed the 1,000 career point plateau in the win
