IUPUI’s Lawrence Earns #SummitWBB Player of the Week Honors
ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI sophomore guard Danielle Lawrence was named Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances Jan. 25-31.

- Earned her second Player of the Week award this season and of her career
- Scored a career-high 24 points with five rebounds and two assists, leading IUPUI to a double overtime win over Denver
- Connected on a pair of free throws with 0.7 seconds left in the first overtime period to force double overtime
- Was a perfect 10-for-10 from the charity stripe in the overtime periods
- Added 23 points with six rebounds, two assists and two steals in a road victory over then second place Oral Roberts
- 19 of her 23 points vs. the Golden Eagles came in the second half helping the Jaguars secure the three-point win
- Averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, two assists and 1.5 steals per game on the week while shooting 90.9 percent (20-of-22) at the free throw line

ABOUT SUMMIT LEAGUE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
In its fourth decade of Division I athletics, The Summit League features women's basketball teams from nine member institutions: Denver, Fort Wayne, IUPUI, North Dakota State, Omaha, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Western Illinois. In 2014-15, The Summit League had the highest graduation success rate (GSR) in NCAA Division I, qualified three postseason teams for the sixth straight season, and featured the Capital One Academic All-American of the Year and a WNBA Draft choice.
