USD’s Hancock, UNO’s Roecker Named #SummitSB Player, Pitcher of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota's Sydney Hancock was named Summit League Player of the Week while Omaha pitcher Laura Roecker garnered the league's Pitcher of the Week award for their performances during the week of March 21-27.

Named Summit League Player of the Week for the first time in her career
Hit .700 (7-for-10) over the weekend, helping South Dakota to a series win at Fort Wayne
Went 4-for-4 with a double, three-run home run and scored three runs in the Coyotes' 10-1 game one win
Added a two-run homer in her first at-bat of game two, her fifth consecutive hit
For the week, she drove in seven runs while slugging 1.400 with a .750 on-base percentage
