Denver’s James Named #SummitMTN Player of the Week

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver's Yannik James was named Summit League Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance March 2-7.

YANNIK JAMES, DENVER

  • Garnered first career Player of the Week honor
  • Helped lead team to wins over No. 59 Pennsylvania and No. 68 Utah
  • Won in straight sets (4 and 3) over Utah's Egbert Weverink at No. 4 singles
  • Posted three-set win over Penn's Matt Nardella (6-1, 4-6, 6-3)
  • Teamed with Jesse Ruder-Hook for a pair of doubles wins against Penn and Utah tandems
