NDSU’s Reina, IUPUI’s Moody Capture #SummitSB Weekly Awards
ELMHURST, Ill. – North Dakota State catcher Alyssa Reina was named Summit League Player of the Week while IUPUI pitcher Kaitlynn Moody earned the league's Pitcher of the Week award for their performances during the week of April 18-24.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ALYSSA REINA, NORTH DAKOTA STATE

- Named Summit League Player of the Week for the second time in her career and for the first time this season
- Helped NDSU to a three-game sweep over Western Illinois and extending the Bison's league winning streak to 22 games (second longest in league history)
- Batted .800 (8-for-10) over the three games, recording at least two hits, a run and a RBI in each contest
- Six of her eight hits went for extra bases – three doubles, a triple and two homers – for a 1.900 slugging percentage
- Drove in six runs while scoring four times over the weekend and added a pair of stolen bases without striking out

- Earned her first career Summit League Pitcher of the Week award
- Picked up the win in her lone appearance of the weekend, helping the Jaguars to a series victory over South Dakota State
- Struck out a career-high nine hitters without walking a batter in seven innings
- Allowed just one run (earned) for a 1.00 ERA on seven hits
- Her season ERA of 3.19 is currently third-best in The Summit League
