IUPUI’s Swartwood Named #SummitWTN Player of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI's Brigitte Swartwood was named Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance March 29-April 4.

- Earned her first career Player of the Week honor
- Rallied (2-6, 6-3, 6-1) to defeat Jordan Minnich at No. 6 singles to seal 4-3 victory over Butler, IUPUI's first against its crosstown rival since 2007
- Accounted for team's point against No. 33 Denver with straight-set win (3 and 3) over Gracia Mboko at No. 6 singles
- Teamed with Valeriia Lavrenchuk for a pair of No. 3 doubles wins, topping Butler (6-3) and Denver (6-2)
