ELMHURST, Ill. – IUPUI's Akshay Verma was named Summit League Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance March 29-April 4.

- Garnered his second career Player of the Week award and first of the season
- Rallied to notch the clinching win (6-7, 6-4, 6-4) over Kenneth Boykin at No. 6 singles to lead IUPUI to a 4-3 Summit League victory over Oral Roberts
- Teamed with David Beasley for a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles over the Golden Eagle tandem of Saletovic/Koncz
- Win over ORU was the Jaguars first since 2012

In its fourth decade of Division I athletics, The Summit League offers 19 championship sports and has a combined enrollment of over 120,000 at nine institutions, including four located in top 60 U.S. metro populations and two land-grant universities.
