ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State outfielder Lauren Chirnside was named Summit League Player of the Week while North Dakota State pitcher Jacquelyn Sertic earned the league's Pitcher of the Week award for their performances during the week of April 25 – May 1.

Helped lead South Dakota State to a 4-1 week, including a sweep of league opponent Fort Wayne
Went 3-for-6 with two home runs, eight RBI and four runs scored in Saturday's doubleheader sweep of the Mastodons
Started the NCAA-tying streak of four consecutive homers with a three-run blast during the 11-run fourth inning of game one
Belted a grand slam in the second inning of game two on Saturday
For the week, batted .400 (4-for-10) with a 1.200 slugging percentage and .455 on-base percentage
Had eight RBI, six runs scored with two doubles, homers and stolen bases
