ELMHURST, Ill. – Western Illinois outfielder Rachel Beatty was named Summit League Player of the Week while North Dakota State pitcher KK Leddy earned the league's Pitcher of the Week award for their performances during the week of May 2-8.

- Helped lead Western Illinois to a series sweep of Fort Wayne, propelling the Leathernecks to the No. 3 seed in next week's Summit League Championship
- Drove in nine runs with two homers in the three-game set while scoring five times, including a five-RBI game in the series finale
- Recorded .444 (4-for-9) average over the weekend with a .500 on-base percentage and 1.222 slugging percentage without striking out
