Fort Wayne’s Foor, Omaha’s Shelton Named #SummitWSOC Players of the Week
ELMHURST, Ill. – Fort Wayne forward Chloee Foor was named Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week while Omaha goalkeeper Haley Shelton garnered the league's Defensive Player of the Week award for their performances during the season-opening weekend, Aug. 19-21. The honors mark the first weekly awards of the season.
CHLOEE FOOR, FORT WAYNE

- Earned her first Player of the Week honor after making collegiate debut
- Scored team's lone goal in her first college game, a 2-1 loss to Western Michigan
- Factored into both Mastodon goals with an assist and a marker in 2-0 victory over Eastern Illinois
- Leads The Summit League with five points and two goals

- Garnered her first career Player of the Week award after a shutout victory over Kansas City
- Made eight saves in season debut to record her first shutout since the 2014 season
- Stopped Kansas City breakaway attempts to preserve a 2-0 win in a game that was scoreless into the 75th minute
